Meet Hub: Mini Elites

What are Mini Elites?

Mini Elites are an opportunity for some of our higher level track and field athletes to compete against others of a similar caliber. In a traditional year, these athletes have big invites that allow them to compete regularly against the best of the best. This year, we want to allow for the same level of competition while avoiding meets with 1000+ athletes. Each week features different events at either Portsmouth, Oyster River, or Coe-Brown. The selected events allow limited entries as well as a stacked competition; as an example of this, an athlete who runs the 1600m and 3200m no longer choose which to do each week, they all get the same one, so no athlete is out running it by themselves. This makes for some great races, jumps, and throws which is why we will continue to cover as much of it as we can.

Week 6 – Coe-Brown

Week 5 – Oyster River

Action returns to Oyster River with the addition of three new events to the Mini Elite Series. The 4×400, High Jump, and Pole Vault will add to the excitement on Friday.

Week 4 – Coe-Brown

Week 3 – Portsmouth

We apologize for some technical difficulties we encountered during the girls 3200, here is a coverage of the first 8 minutes of the race.   Some great, close races Saturday – track is certainly back!  Thanks Portsmouth for hosting.  The series shifts to CBNA on Friday!
